What is a 50/50 Raffle Exactly...
Great question! Raffle tickets are sold at every home game from the time doors open until the start of the third period. Every ticket sold increases the pot.
|
50% of the pot goes to a winner announced in the 3rd period
|
50% of the pot goes to the continuing education fund
|
Thus the name, 50/50.
What is the Continuing Education Fund? |
The Continuing Education Fund is exactly what it sounds like. A fund to help our Spokane Chiefs players continue their education. For each season a player skates in a Chiefs jersey, they are eligible for a year of tuition and other fees that relate to attending a provincial or state post-secondary institution. While the 50/50 Raffle is where the majority of these funds are raised, we also sell buttons, bracelets and photos at games and host an annual yard sale!

We've gone cashless! |
In joining the digital age, we have gone cashless. We're heading into our third season with these handheld machines and while there was a bit of a learning curve, we're cruising now.
Thank you to everyone for your patience while we ironed out the kinks in this transition. Looking forward to the fall!! |
Thank you for your support and good luck!
